Letter From The Publisher
It is a dream of mine to one day help plan my daughters' weddings. So, when it came time to produce our second edition of The Voice of Louisville magazine, my vision was clear – Bridal. In between the "I will" and "I do….." every bride and groom needs a "What now?" guide – that is exactly what we hope you find within these pages.
While the three wedding "W's" (Where, When, What to wear) served as a general outline for this publication, I personally wanted to bring to life the fairytale of boy-meets-girl- meets-altar and everything in between. From a Louisville couple's picturesque destination wedding to an inside look at some of Kentucky's most exclusive venues, the Dartmouth and Hermitage Farm, romantic flares of the Bluegrass State are scattered throughout this lifestyle publication.
Weddings have a way to inspire us. Whether the act of planning (ahem, mothers' of the brides) or the romantic idea of marriage itself, it is no secret that weddings are more than just the beginning of a couple's life together – they become an indulgent obsession entered in by the willing, and I, for one, cannot wait.
